Her new chapter and my new reality.
I have been slightly distracted for the last two months and have been able to put what is about to take place on the back burner. Back burner no more.
She’s got her fall class schedule, her dorm room assignment and recently found out who her roommate is. Other than figuring out what clothes to pack, all that’s left is 30 days.
30 days until her new chapter and my new reality.
I’m finding it hard to accept this new reality, but let me tell you who is having a very difficult time with this new reality…..this guy.
He loves this girl more than she could ever know.
But he and I know she is ready, whether we're ready or not. There's just no escaping it.

Awww, so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad we got to meet your wonderful family at New Day. We are so grateful that our father provided such a wonderful family for Raegan. We will be lifting your family up as you enter this new time of transition! Your family is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to see our kids grow up and become independent! But really... no matter where they go and what they do, they still always need their parents now and then!
ReplyDeleteOh those growing-up and moving-on realities can be SO hard sometimes! Bonich has definitely been equipped for the future though... she has a beautiful and loving, God-serving family that will always be just a phone call away... and I'm pretty sure that goes both ways!! God bless all of you during this time of transition... what an eventful year of change for your family, huh!?!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Hugs,
~ Tanya
