Today I weigh 35 pounds.
One month ago I was 3 feet 3 inches tall.
One month later I stand exactly 3 feet 3.5 inches tall.

One month ago my nanny told my mama and daddy that I wore a diaper full time.
I'll have you know that I haven't worn a daytime diaper in over a week.
Things that blow my mind...
automatic soap dispensers. I look at my mama like I just saw the most amazing thing every single time I use one.
the mylar balloon section at Dollar Tree. I literally just about lost my mind when I saw all those mylar balloons. I screamed with such delight that I scared mama and everyone in the store. so.many.balloons. It was mylar magic.
Things that I do that blow my mama's mind...
running with scissors in my mouth
washing my hands in toilet water
putting my hands all over public toilets, especially the seat
putting the car key in light sockets
putting the car key in light sockets
Some life lessons that I've learned...
cat treats that say chicken on them doesn't mean they taste like chicken
if your thirsty while taking a bath, drinking the bath water will not quench your thirst.
hand sanitizer is just that, HAND sanitizer. It's not face sanitizer and it's certainly not eye sanitizer. Can you say, "ouch?"
This family that I became a part of is big, loud and fun.
Things that I do that mama just can't get enough of...
my smile
my laugh
telling her and everyone in the family that I love them
that kiss that I initiate first thing every morning
This family that I became a part of is big, loud and fun.
I'd say that I'm the perfect fit for them.
From the day that we said yes to Sonny's file to hours before meeting him, I prayed that his heart and mind would be prepared to be a part of a family and that he would just know from the minute he met us that there would be safety and love. I truly believe that God had his hand on our boy and answered my prayers. Sonny's transition into our family has been incredible. He is without a doubt the prefect fit and addition to our family.
God is good.
